Sonic universe for Mariana Méndez

Mariana Méndez is a designer whose work sits at the intersection of design, art and fashion. Her creations explore the three-dimensional object as a functional piece, developed through more than twenty years of research into artisanal techniques and innovative textile constructions.

During this ongoing collaboration, Tobal has successfully translated the products of Mariana Méndez into music, therefore creating a sonic universe with each collection that not only expands the brands horizons but adds an extra layer in the customer experience, a layer that is now a staple piece of the brand.
This project is the first of its kind, and this is just the beginning so further expansion is expected for the upcoming collections.

The key for the success of this project has been the close work between the artist and the brand, Tobal has worked hand to hand with Mariana Méndez to make sure that not only the music represented the brands history, product and values but that it was tailored to make said music an elongation of the brands concept.
